Ludo Unleashed

Download & install

Pick the device you want to play on. Every step is written out — you don't need to know anything technical.

You will see a warning. This is normal.

Ludo Unleashed isn't in the Microsoft Store or Google Play yet, so Windows and Android will warn you that they don't recognise it. That warning is about the app being new, not about it being unsafe. The steps below show you exactly what the warning looks like and what to tap. If you'd rather wait for the store versions, that's completely fine — they're coming.

Windows PC

Version 0.2.0 · 15 August 2026 · 37 MB

  1. Download the game

Click the button below. Your browser will save a file called LudoUnleashed-win64.zip, usually into your Downloads folder.

    Download for Windows
  2. Open your Downloads folder

Press Windows + E to open File Explorer, then click Downloads on the left-hand side.

  3. Unpack the file

Right-click LudoUnleashed-win64.zip and choose Extract All…, then click Extract. A new folder appears with the same name. The game will not run until you do this — opening the zip and double-clicking inside it is not enough.

  4. Open the new folder and start the game

Double-click LudoUnleashed.exe. (If you don't see “.exe” at the end, look for the file with the Ludo Unleashed picture next to it.)

  5. If a blue “Windows protected your PC” box appears

Click the words More info, then click the Run anyway button that appears underneath. Windows shows this for any app it hasn't seen before. You'll only need to do this the first time.

  6. Play

Create an account or tap Play as Guest, and you're in.

Android phone or tablet

Version 0.2.0 · 15 August 2026 · 26 MB

  1. Open this page on the phone itself

Not on your computer — the game has to be downloaded by the phone you want to play on. You can send yourself this link, or search for ludounleashed.com on the phone.

  2. Tap the download button

The phone saves a file ending in .apk. That's the Android version of the game.

    Download for Android
  3. Tap the downloaded file

Tap the notification that appears, or open your Files app, go to Downloads, and tap LudoUnleashed.apk.

  4. Allow your browser to install apps — one time only

Android will say something like “For your security, your phone is not allowed to install unknown apps from this source.” Tap Settings, then turn on Allow from this source, then press the back arrow. You only ever do this once.

  5. Tap Install

Then tap Open when it finishes. If Play Protect asks, choose Install anyway — it's asking because the game is new, not because anything is wrong.

  6. Turn your phone sideways

Ludo Unleashed is played in landscape (the wide way round), so the board fits.

Updating later: when a new version comes out, just download it from this page again and install it the same way. Your account and your games stay exactly as they were — you don't need to uninstall anything first.

Checking you got the real file

Optional, and only takes a minute. Both downloads are unsigned, which is why Windows and Android warn you about them — so here is how to confirm the file you have is byte-for-byte the one we published, and not something swapped in along the way.

Every file has a fingerprint (a "SHA-256 checksum"). If your copy's fingerprint matches the one below, your copy is identical to ours. If it doesn't, delete it and download again — and please tell us.

Windows — LudoUnleashed-win64.zip

Open the Start menu, type PowerShell, open it, then paste this and press Enter:

Get-FileHash "$env:USERPROFILE\Downloads\LudoUnleashed-win64.zip" -Algorithm SHA256

Should print, ignoring upper/lower case:
723af0004ed9dffc95814b4bb1170b37612dbc2a2850a9790080f3dd2364ffde

Android — LudoUnleashed.apk

Phones have no built-in way to do this, so check it on a PC if you want to: download the APK there, then run the same PowerShell command with LudoUnleashed.apk in place of the zip name.

Should print:
d17ae94e6067fcf946de695520e603ed2adf5621388b240f38773e67bb560d39

The APK is signed with a debug certificate — normal for a game distributed outside the Play Store. Its fingerprint is f4b2e3e5d7d5838124dfd3cc0fc73e1602e04520988a28f3ef6a80fdaece273a, and it will change when the game moves to the Play Store on a release key.

iPhone & iPad

Not ready yet — and unlike Windows and Android, there's no way to install it early. Apple only allows apps through the App Store, so this one has to wait until we're accepted.
